Do I need a referral?
No. A referral is not necessary to see a physiotherapist. We are direct access practitioners
What do I need to bring?
Bring a referral letter if you have one as well as any reports, X-rays or scans relevant to your condition or injury.
What should I wear?
Any comfortable clothing.
Does my private health care insurance cover physiotherapy?
Most health care insurers cover physiotherapy treatment but please check with your medical aid to see if you are covered.

The initial appointment is always 45 minutes long and the cash price is R550. Followup (follow-up) consultations are charged at R550 for a 45 minute appointment and R425 for a 30 minute appointment. Sports Massages are charged at R550 for a 45 minute appointment. Strapping, if required, is an additional R40-R80 depending on size. Home visits are an additional R85 per visit. Medical aid rates are charged for patients using private medical aid. We will submit the account to medical aid on your behalf. Should your medical aid reject the claim, you will be liable for the account.
How long does an appointment last and how many will I need?
The initial session takes approximately 45 min so that we can make a full assessment and so that we can develop a treatment plan. All following sessions take between 30 - 45 min.
What should I expect on my first visit?
On the first visit we will review your condition or injury and develop a treatment plan. You will be asked a few questions about your existing injury and health history. A qualified physio will then examine the injury and begin treatment.
When should I see a physiotherapist?
There are many instances when one should consult a physiotherapist including but not limited to:
  • If you sustained an injury
  • If you have bruising or swelling
  • For joint stiffness
  • If you require advice on flexibility, fitness or strength
  • Injury prevention
  • Sports related injuries
  • Always consult a professional physiotherapist rather than going it alone and trying to treat it yourself
Do we do Sports Massage if there is not a specific injury?
Yes. It is always beneficial as a prevention tool for future injuries.
What techniques are used?
Dry needling, Electrotherapy, Therapeutic massage, Joint mobilization, Rehabilitation, Rehabilitation exercises, Kinesio taping, etc

Cancellation policy
Appointments not cancelled at least two hours before the appointment will be charged for.
